Manual de-installation of the Intrexx Server
1.) Terminate Windows services, all of which should be removed.
- Supervisor Service
- Portal services (if available)
- Solr service (if available)
- Derby service (if available)
- Tomcat service (if available)
2.) Delete Windows services, all of which should be removed.
- Supervisor Service
- Portal services (if available)
- Solr service (if available)
- Derby service (if available)
- Tomcat service (if available)
Info: Windows services can be removed with the console command "sc delete", further information can be found on the Internet.
3.) Clean and restart IIS
- Delete websites (if available)
- Delete virtual directories (if available)
You can view and edit the directories in the IIS Manager.
4.) Clean up databases
- Delete affected portal databases (if they exist)
You can edit the databases in the corresponding database manager (e.g. pgAdmin).
5) Delete Intrexx directories
- Installation directory
- Delete portal directories (if available)
6) Remove Intrexx software registration:
Delete the corresponding entry with regedit.exe, e.g. HKLM\Software\United Planet\Intrexx Installation\System.1 (The number at the end depends on how many Intrexx installations there are on the computer; the correct number is determined using the Intrexx installation path entry, which is shown in the software registration entry described below at item 7.)
7) Delete software registration entry
Use regedit.exe to remove the following key folder:- HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Intrexx Portal Server

- Portal services (if available)
- Solr service (if available)
- Derby service (if available)
- Tomcat service (if available)
